About South Caicos

The resort is situated on one of the most beautiful locations in the Turks and Caicos Islands, spanning over one hundred acres of the South Caicos peninsula.

Being on the peninsula offers our owners and visitors the diversity of talcum powder beaches on the ocean side and protected turquoise water of the Bank side. The property elevation ranges from sea level to a ridge peak of 160 feet above sea level.

This impressive relief allows our units to be arranged so that you can watch a stunning sunrise over Turks Passage barrier reef in the morning and a breathtaking sunset into the Caicos Bank in the evening…a one of a kind location, not only in the Turks and Caicos, but throughout the Caribbean.

Historically a salt producing island but geographically a caicos island. Due to an abundance of marine life the island’s economy is fuelled by the export of conch and lobster.South Caicos is well known in the diving community for clear visibility in water depths from 20 feet dropping ‘off the wall’ to 7000 feet with a fantastic array of corals and fishes. Bird watching enthusiasts will find the best variety of subjects at the Highlands estate. The most protected harbour in all of the islands, East Harbour, is host to the annual sailing regatta in May.

The Turks and Caicos Islands host Three (3) International Airports in the Country, one on the Capital Island of Grand Turk, one on the Island of Providenciales and one on South Caicos.
